MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS

SUPPLIED COMPOSITE MATERIALS:

Printed web offset, four-color process to SWOP standards.

Covers and interior pages will be printed to a 150 line screen. Ad requirements are digital file MAC format. File formats accepted are Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop files. All four-color process ads require a color-correct proof output directly from the supplied files. Publisher will output proof, when one is not supplied at an additional charge.

Advertiser/agencies who submit advertising materials that are not fully composed will be billed for all production charges on their behalf. Additional $75 charge for ads received after material closing date.

3. We require computer generated files for all ads. Ad must be accompanied by a prepress proof. There is an additional charge of $100 for ads supplied on film or missing color proof. Contact the advertising production department for specifications.
4.

Materials received after the regular closing dates, whether with an extension or not, will not go through the prepress inspection process. Thus, the reproduction quality is at the advertiser's risk. An additional charge for late stripping/blueline insertion will also apply.

Unless return is requested, all advertising materials will be stored for a period of 12 months. After that time, the materials will be destroyed.
